There's a lot of chicken here. People just call Chickens when they eat it "Chicken" - no different from the chicken as an animal.
But cows and pigs has a seperate name as food. I feel sorry for chickens.
And they are in a small space. I wonder if they are going to be killed from the other side of the window.
They will end up as soup stock or fried with nuts and in someone's belly.
I hope that they will have wings in next life.
ニワトリがたくさん。食べ物としてチキンと呼ぶべきだろうか。いや、鶏は鶏肉だろうがニワトリだろうが、chicken はchicken なのだ。牛や豚はcow,pig/beef,pork と食肉と動物を区別する言葉がちゃんとあるのに。可愛そうだ。
そしてこんなに詰め込まれている。朝の山手線のようだ。
これからスープストックになったり、カシューナッツと炒められたり、ヒトの胃袋の中へと消えて行くのね。生まれ変わったら飛べる鳥だといいわね。。。
